Have you ever stopped to look at a butterfly? I did! These are a few images i made that are more on the creative side of things, I took some blurred and composition error photos and tried to get a little creative. Enjoy!
This first image...this little "fairy" tried to get away lol. He was on that green stalk there to the left that's just in focus and as soon as I was ready to release the shutter he flew away...But not before the shutter caught him just as he left the frame. Does he look like a little fairy flying away? Let me know what you think in the comments.
The next image, I was using a technique I've been experimenting with for a while. Basically framing complimentary colors in the scene and defocusing my lens to give more of a digital painting effect. These 2 blue butterflies were hanging around with some nice colors to compliment the background. I made a few images as quick as I could while these 2 were close and this one worked the best. I see some unique potential and creative possibilities with this defocusing technique. What do you think...? Would this defocused technique look good as wall art? Let me know in the comments. All images available for purchase ;-)
These next 2 images were butterflies on patrol protecting other butterflies feeding on the flowers below them, at least that's what I'm saying they're doing ;-). I really like these in flight photos, imagining what it would be like to have enormous wings flying around drinking nectar. Would you like to be able to fly like a butterfly? Let me know what you think in the comments below!
